Concerns

  • Forehead Lines

Forehead lines are the horizontal lines that appear on the forehead when you raise your eyebrows.

Over time the repeated skin folding and decreased volume due to collagen reduction caused permanent or static lines in the skin above the eyebrows.

  • Frown Lines

Frown lines are the vertical lines that appear between the eyebrows when you make a frown like movement.

Over time the repeated skin folding and decreased volume due to collagen reduction caused permanent or static lines in the skin between the eyebrows.

  • Facial Volume Loss

Facial volume loss occurs as collagen production in the skin slows down softening and loosening the skin structure, resulting in sagging.

Simultaneously our fat and bone structure changes as we lose both over time causing deeper lines, folds and migration of overlying skin with gravity.

  • Jowls

Jowls are caused by excess loose skin on the jawline, under the chin and around the neck.

Caused by loss of structure in the fat and changes is bone with age providing less support for the overlying skin which descends with gravity to the place of least resistance.

  • Marionette Lines

Marionette lines are the vertical lines that appear between the corners of the mouth and the chin,  sometimes called ventriloquist lines.

They are created over time by the repeated skin folding and decreased volume due to collagen reduction causing permanent volume reduction and static lines in the skin below the mouth.

  • Crows Feet

Crows feet are a very common type of wrinkle or rhytide, appearing due to continued folding and movement of the skin by muscles and gradual collagen loss at the outside corners of the eye. Resulting in horizontal creases or wrinkles.

  • Dark Circles

Dark under eye circles are caused by the expansion of blood vessels showing beneath the shin skin in the under eye area.

Made to look worse with lack of sleep, dehydration and allergies, these cause the blood vessels to swell and as we age our skin becomes thinner, making the dark circles more visible.

  • Gummy Smile

A gummy smile occurs when the gums show when you laugh or smile.

  • Nasolabial Fold

Nasolabial folds are the deeper lines that appear between the corners of the mouth and the nose.

They are created over time by the repeated skin folding and decreased volume in our deep fat compartments, bone reabsorption and  collagen reduction causing permanent volume reduction in the cheeks and sagging of the overlying skin pulled down with gravity to form the nose to mouth lines.

  • Mishapen Lips

Mishapen lips are commonly genetic or may be caused by an injury, operation, playing a musical instrument.

Characterised by thin upper or lower lip or both, can reveal increased lip lines as we age or the gums when we smile. At Barberry Boutique, Morteza sees lips of all shapes and sizes and can help to balance them with natural looking treatments.

  • Receding Chin

A receding chin occurs when the lower jaw is set further back than the upper jaw creating a flatter look and less defined weaker chin.

  • Jawline Slimming

Ageing accentuates the rounding as bone becomes flatter and fat deposits around the jaw and jowls.
